María  del  Carmen  Sánchez Cánovas

The Spanish painter María del Carmen Sánchez-Cánovas was born in Murcia on the 9th of December, 1942.

In 1960 she moves with her family to Madrid and María del Carmen gets in touch with Marisa Roësset, famous “Master” in the Art of Painting and she becomes her pupil and disciple.

From 1982 to 1987 she lives in Brussels (Belgium) and in 1987 she comes back to Madrid. From 1992 to 1994 she moves again, going this time to the town of Valladolid (Spain) and from 1994 until 1996 she resides in the town of Burgos (Spain). Finally, since 1996 she settles down in Madrid definitely.
